Perfect location of the hotel, easy walk to solis theatre. Private parking was provided to the guests. We can recommend and return to the place.
No issues.

The location was EXCELLENT, with Corunesa Cafe nearby, where we could eat. It was easy to get to Telecommunications Tower and solis theatre was also near this place. This hotel was set in a central area.
Nothing, all great.

Centrally located and cheap
The rooms vary from horrible and pokey to sunny and comfortable. Breakfast was very basic. Staff were not welcoming.

The location is excelent. The staff is very attentive. The badroom is really simple, but is heated (it is important because the city is freezing in winter). The price is good if you image that you can walk to every place (the market, squares, ´cassinos´, restaurants, theatres). You can find a ship garage really near the hotel (it is very helpfull if you go by car).
The cofferoon is a little bit dirty. You have bread crumbs in the floor all the time because they don´t provide dishes for bread.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff were very helpful and warm. We loved the vintage look, and we definitely recommend this hotel to future visitors.

Location; smack in downtown, on the main street (which also makes it safe in an anyways fairly safe city). It was also cheapest available hotel. The staff is not particularly friendly, but they are neither unfriendly (breakfast guys excluded). They are a little overworked, but answer questions correctly. Also check-out procedure was straight-forward and nice and correct.
It was fairly dirty. When I arrived there was trash a couple of places on the anyways dirty carpet, hair under the drinking/toothbrushing glass, and the comforter seemed unclean. Linen were not changed during my 8 days stay. The room did not have many amenities; no fridge, no safe, no ... The drawers seemed dirty, but I could use the few (5) hangers available. Breakfast people were awful; first of all, breakfast is just a little hard and old bread and butter, with either coffee and tea. Very unfriendly. After the first day, I stayed away from breakfast (you are smack in downtown). In all honesty, I got used to the dirt, and also stayed at the hotel for the last two days of my stay in MV; it is conveniently located and fairly cheap. However, there are many hotels around the area.

Very reasonable price for this weekend in the city. It was used by a lot of locals too. It was not deluxe but met our needs for the time. The hotels in Montevideo are spread out around the city. This was a good location.
